Snow in my 'secret garden'

Ive not seen this much snow since I was a kid, so not that long ago then lol
Took a couple of pics for you, one from my kitchen and one from my living room. I heard the snow was coming so went out and stocked up on provisions before it arrived. Just as well really as I wasn’t able to go out at all yesterday, and my booking for the day had to cancel due to bad road conditions. Id rather you guys were safe and not take risks in the snow.
My first real memory of deep snow was when I was about 7 years old. Woke up in the early hours of the morning and was so excited to see it. Went downstairs and my dads boots were by the front door. I put them on, opened up the front door and walked up and down the path in my pj’s and dressing gown. There is something magical about walking in virgin snow . In the morning my parents couldn’t work out why there were footprints up and down the path. I never told!
Ive got a nail appointment this morning, and theres no way Im going to miss that. And its also a good excuse to walk in the snow, just hope I dont hit the ice!
