Penny’s Ponderings

Well we have to find something fun to do in the Rain, as we have had lots of it and seems there is much more to come.  Today I just stayed in and listened to the rain and hail on my windows.  I was all comfy cosy, bathed but back in my jim jams, drinking coffee and studying. 

Yesterday I had on my wellies and went splashing through puddles when I walked my brothers lovely little doggy Ronnie, shes a little staff, so pretty and so mischievous, all the family love her.  She tries to actually get into my handbag so I’m sure one day I will be bringing her home.  Id love a little doggy like her, but I’m allergic, have to take antihistamines when I’m visiting.  Everything is a game to her, and she gives fantastic doggy cuddles, well she would if she could sit still on my knee!  We both needed toweling dry when we got back home.

So what else could we be doing in all this rain?  Well the picture above might give you an idea.  Ive had outside fun but never in the rain.  Would need a hot warm bath together afterwards to warm ourselves up , that’s not a problem.  We could make like Gean Kelly and go singing and dancing in the rain, I’m sure that would make people smile.  I love standing under a big tree and let it shelter me from the rain, and listening to the rain drops coming through the tree.  Have you ever done that?  Or we could just stay in and keep each other cosy while listening to the rain falling outside.

Off to look at a flat tomorrow in Horsham, not far from where I am now, so will keep you posted on progress.  Wasn’t looking to move until next year but ones come up close to where I am now, so am going to have a peek.
