Penny’s Ponderings

Its at this time of year that life just seems to double in speed, and its not just about the festive fun that is to come.  This year I have the added challenge of my studying, and my first assignment is due in at the end of next week!  <gulp>.  I’m actually dreaming about it.  The stuff I’m learning is really interesting, and I think I’m retaining a lot of it but we will see.  You should see my text book and the amount of hand written notes Ive made in it.  I have my laptop on when I’m studying so that I can do further research and also to look up what those long words mean!

So, my new photos are now up on the site, in full glory.  What do you think of them?  Hope you like them.  It was a fun day but very tiring, and love the way they have come out.  There’s no photoshopping , its all me with a glossy tint.  Wish I could go round like that in normal life, with a glossy tint lol.

Ive had to get onto my landlord for my Horsham home, water has come in from upstairs flat, which is vacant.  He tells me that there is a hole in the roof and that the waters getting into upstairs flat and then down into mine.  Its made a right mess of my bathroom ceiling and now beginning to mark the kitchen ceiling and show on the walls in the hallway.  Its a nightmare as I do like to keep my home nice.  Landlord is reluctant to do much work to the property as he is waiting for planning permission as he has major renovations he wants to do, which is fair enough, but not when I get cold running water where I don’t want or need it.  Ive demanded he comes and sees the damage, so we shall see.  Maybe I should put on my new thigh high boots and deal with him!

A very close girlfriend of mine is going through a tough time, her lovely mum is very poorly and the outcome isn’t looking good.  Then there’s my ex sister in law (we still get on well) who is having tests as it seems she has a mass in her chest, so the family is waiting with baited breath to see the outcome of the tests.  Also another close friend of mines mum is poorly and sleeping a lot, it seems she is just wearing out and running down.  As they say, it never rains but it pours.  My love and prayers are with them all.

Had a lovely time with a gent ive seen a few times, last week.  He usually has a role play session, and this time he asked that I be a Headmistress and he had been very naughty and sent to me.  I dealt with him severely before giving him some sex education!  He loved it, and said afterwards that I was ‘quite intimidating’.  Who moi?  lol  So the pic above is  for him (and you).
