Or did London do me??

Had a great time in London.  The hotel was fabulous.  Bit more pricey than I would normally go for but it was well worth it and really felt pampered.  Nice to treat yourself now and again.  Saw a few new gents, one being a blind guy who brought his very well behaved guide dog with him.  I was based very close a main line station and lots of shops, I was in my element.

Also met up with the lovely Burlesque Honey http://www.burlesquehoney.com and went for a bite to eat and a good chin wag.  Although we have known each other for a couple of years and talk on the phone this was the first time we had met in the voluptuous flesh.  Time just flew and in the end had to gently kick her out of my hotel room so that I could get some sleep!  I also met up with some friends on the Saturday evening and we went to China town to eat, which was scrumptious.  Back to the hotel for drinks and a few Mojitos later I was ready to sleep in the gorgeous linen made Queen bed in my room. 

I had forgotten how noisy London is at night.  Lots of people noise and police sirens.  I’m not used to the hussel and bussel of a busy city, but I do like it now and again.  I started my Christmas shopping and also visited Spitalfield Market on Sunday morning before returning home.  Really interesting place.  I didn’t get to look round it all so dragging a friend back with me in a week or so to revisit, as well as a visit to Petticoat Lane Market.

I do love visiting London and had forgotten how much.  So am planning another tour there early next year.  Unless you gents can entice me there earlier.

Some of you will have noticed that you are no longer able to comment on my blog page without registering.  I’m really sorry about this but due to the amount of spam I have been getting , sometimes 100′s per day, I have had to alter my settings.  Will let you know if I turn them back again.

The network meeting I set up last Monday was a big success.  There were 8 ladies there, lots of chatting and laughter.  A few ladies I had met before and some I hadn’t.  One new lady came all the way from Cardiff and another well established lady came down from Scarborough and also used her trip to do some sightseeing.  I’m hoping that this will be a regular thing for us ladies as it went so well.

Photo shoot this week!  I will be spending this evening sorting out my outfits and accessories.  Ive got too much stuff!  Will just pack it all up and decide on the day what I will wear.  Feeling really excited about it now.
